Indy Chamber Monumental Awards 2024

Ada’s Place at Fair Haven took home the Honor Award for Neighborhood Revitalization at the recent 47th annual Indy Chamber Monumental Awards!

Fair Haven at Ada’s Place has contributed to revitalization efforts in the Riverside neighborhood and brought a greatly-needed resource to downtown Indianapolis as one of more than 200 healthcare hospitality facilities at major hospitals and academic health centers across the country. Located at the busy intersection of W. 16th Street and Riverside Drive, the building has high motor vehicle and pedestrian visibility. Exterior improvements were made to the primary front-facing facades visible from both of these busy streets and the surrounding landscape, in addition to completely updating the building’s interior. A faith-based organization, Fair Haven’s mission is to provide hospitality and compassionate support to seriously-ill patients and their families who travel to Indianapolis for critical medical treatment. Simply stated, Fair Haven is a “Ronald McDonald House” for adult patients and their families. Following renovation, the project at Ada’s Place has provided temporary housing for  12 families each night in hotel-style rooms and suites. The facility has allowed Fair Haven to provide lodging to an additional 600 families annually. In addition to lodging, the facility offers a new day service programmed to benefit more than 1,000 family members of hospitalized patients annually.

We are so proud of our team and everything they have accomplished with this project and a special thanks to Indy Chamber for the honor!
