Located on the bank of the Eel River in North Manchester, Indiana, this headquarters for one of the country’s largest egg producers provides collaborative work spaces and operational support areas for the sixth-generation company. With the river on the northern edge, the building responds to the influences of its natural site. Strategically placed windows, interior glazing and clerestories harvest daylight that washes over the naturally finished Douglas fir wood trusses and ceiling planks above the open office.
