In partnership with Ratio Architects, our team provided interior finish and furniture design for the phased renovation of the Butler University’s historic Hinkle Fieldhouse. The essential goal of the project was to provide student athletes, staff and guests with modern amenities while maintaining the appeal of the existing period building. Aesthetics for an important space named the Wildman Room were inspired by a 1928 yearbook, The Drift, which was the year the Fieldhouse was completed. Notable features of the space include rich wood paneling, an Art-Deco bar along with a hand painted 1920’s style mural depicting life and times at the university. A host of additional spaces throughout the building were also reconfigured and designed.
