When the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity at Valparaiso University outgrew their original house, our team was secured to design a new chapter house. The Neo-Traditional Tudor design incorporates brick and stone and is complementary with the campus architecture. The plan is efficient and supports a small commercial kitchen, large dining room, feature stair, study/library spaces as well as a first floor house director’s suite that can be converted into an ADA student bedroom. Double and triple bedrooms were designed to foster brotherhood supported by the addition of feature loft spaces for officers and upperclassmen.
